Born in Portsmouth, Virginia. Jiani lived there until she was 9.  It was at that time she and her mother moved to Connecticut., where she loving calls "Home Base".  Jiani spent her early years listening to the vivid wild stories told by her family member while   spent her summers in Louisiana. Ever since her earliest days, she loved story telling.

JIani moved to Los Angeles where she attended L.A. Community College. She studied Art, and Business Administration.  However, she could not escape the allure of storytelling and quickly began studying to become a novelist. She began by reading every chance she had. From classical literature to contemporary novels, Her  love for storytelling is uncontrollable.

Jiani  left college before earning her degree. She decided to move back  to "Home base" only to buy a ticket and take off to Europe and Asia. While traveling, she would study the people, and listen to their stories. "I became a student of life", she recalls.

Jiani is a member of the Romance Writers of America and CoLoNY - Romance Writers of Southern Connecticut and Lower New York and also a member of Association of Independent Authors. 

She currently lives in Southwestern Connecticut with her daughter.
